Usually every holiday is spent with me and my cousins locked in their room playing "ROCKBAND" (or this year "GUITAR HERO"). And the adults in the living room watching t.v. and falling asleep. This year was particularly different, my Tia Anna called me around 9:20 in the morning, asking what the menu was going to look like, and during that conversation she mentioned playing games, like Pictionary, TABOO, and maybe MAD-GAB. So i intentionally left my PS3 and Guitar Hero here at home. And BOY am i glad i did. This New Years was the BEST!!! We ended up, of course, helping out in the kitchen. But once we got away we headed to the living room the it got a little more exciting. Making fun of the "Newbie," it was HIGH-LA-RI-OUS!!!! Dinner time, and by that time my Tio Gilbert, my cousin Anthony and his cousin Gilbert joined us. Dinner was delicious especially the potato salad! (YUM!) During dinner we were discussing what we should do after. It was decided, we were gonna play TABOO. Now to figure out the teams. Of course me and Jess would be on the same team, and Victoria, Annie, and the "Newbie" would be on another. We were short one. Anthony and Gilbert didn't want to play. So we asked my cousin Robert. And Shockingly he wanted to play, which was a big first because he usually passes up on the offer. It was totally FUN! and we whipped them big time! But of course what goes up must come down (not even referring to gravity). We ended up losing at Pictionary :(. But it was all in good fun :D. Then it was time to wait for midnight. But the night went way better than i thought it was. The best New Years Eve to this day.

Freaky
The past two nights have been waking up at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Nothing woke me up though. I just open my eyes and find out that its the early early morning. When I wake up I happen to wake up my two little dogs (Chiquita & Odie) and my dads dog (Daisy) and they aren't very quiet to begin with. I wonder what time i will wake up tonight. We shall see.

Basically, I don't work. So whats a girl to do. I don't wanna be a Bum so i decided to clean the whole house. It all started with the front room, and now I'm kicking myself in the butt for not taking photos like a "before & after." It looks totally different and clean! I <3 the house being CLEAN!!! In the words of the A.D.D guy in Grey's Anatomy "Clean clean clean." And when the house smells like "Thanksgiving" and baking its awesome!! Yesterday, i did what ever younger brother or sister does. I cleaned the Big sister's room. (of course I'm getting paid) LOL. Alot of dust, that's all I'm gonna say. Tomorrow i tackle the top of the washroom and the bathroom. (great)

Finding our Christmas Spirit
This year in particular did not at all feel like Christmas. But why? The lack of presents? No snow? Not really sure. But, in order to find our Christmas spirit, Annie, Victoria, Jess, and I decided to make sugar cookies and decorate them. I can't speak for everyone, but thats the most it ever felt like Christmas. On November 13th of 2009, a job application was closed for the undergraduate internship with the GAO. IN WASHINGTON, or L.A and Atlanta. can you tell the one I'm more excited about?? well on November 14th i received an e-mail stating that they received my application and resume and I would hear back in 30 days. SO when December 13th through the 16th came around i was excited as hell. ALAS, the e-mail never came, no mail through the P.O. Box. So from that day on I've been checking every single day. Even going to the application website to see the status. But as always it says "Reviewing Applications". People say that's a good thing, that they are still considering me. I'm more leaning towards thinking pessimistically. That its taking them long to reject me.
I guess all i can do is .......wait.
